Charity Cycle of the Year 2024
At Member First, we host an annual charity cycle in partnership with Clontarf Cycling Club. We carefully select a charity that aligns with our values and mission, keeping our community in mind. This year, we are proud to support Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland and the Irish Heart Foundation. The Charity of the Year Cycle has been a tradition for the past several years with Clontarf Cycling Club. The club covers a remarkable 90km during the event. The club will set off from our Artane branch at 8:30 am on Saturday, August 10th.
Autism Assitance Dogs Ireland is a charity that is transforming the world for children with autism.
How can you help? You can sponsor a puppy in training. Your sponsorship will fund the journey of a puppy in training to provide companionship to a child with autism. The charity relies on fundraising and donations, and your support will contribute to over 300 hours of specialist training and 300 kilograms of food for the puppies each month. With over 300,000 hours of support provided to children with autism by the assistance dogs at the charity each year, your contribution will make a meaningful impact.
The Irish Heart Foundation works to gain recognition for those in our community living with stroke and heart conditions. The charity provides CPR training and advocates for policies that support people to live healthier lives. The main mission of the foundation is to eliminate preventable death and disability from heart disease and stroke. They are also heavily involved in the lives of those who have been affected by heart disease and stroke.
How can you help? You can fundraise for the organisation by finding a fundraising event near you, organise your own event, donate or fundraise through your workplace or volunteer your time.
